Like most ecom sites, we relied heavily on emails to market to our customers - this means multiple emails a week targeting different customers in several locations. Since working at SPUD.CA I helped rework their email header and footer - making it stand out more against our competitors and tried to create a constant flow of emails that people wanted to receive in their inbox.

KEY CHALLENGES WERE…

  • Making sure each email felt different and not repetitive while sticking to the brand colours, themes and guidelines.

  • Ensuring customers could recognise ‘sales’ emails with limited time offers and deals to keep them interested.

  • Quick turnarounds - these emails were often created and sent out within a few days / 1 week, with products changing regularly.
